  1. X_15 is an excellent "Pilot Report" on flying the X_15 by Raul Raveling.
  2. This report is based on the X_15's flight manual (last revised on
  3. December 29, 1961) and discusses both airframe engineering and piloting
  4. techniques.  This report is split into four parts: 1.  X-15 General
  5. Description & Walkaround; 2.  X-15 Cockpit Check; 3. X-15 Flight Test:
  6. Heading Out, and 4. X-15 Flight Test: Coming Back.  I throughly enjoyed
  7. reading this!
